Hood Brat is one of my favorite rappers. She's relatively new in the game, and I think the girl has talent! Her new album "Hood Baby" is straight fire, and I think y'all should listen to it.
She has appeared on the reality show "Love and Hip Hop Miami" (Season 3), and we could see her record and perform some of her songs there, like "Please." In this show, she explains her story. Hood Brat comes from the hood, but wants the children of her deceased sister to grow up in a more positive place than her. Her main goal is becoming a recognized rapper and being able to provide and sustain her niece and nephew with her career. I really hope she succeeds!
I think she deserves WAY more recognition. She's truly talented, has bars and her songs are dope. People are definitely sleeping on her! Her other albums, like "Vonda" are great as well.
P.S: One thing I like about her is that she has songs with deep and meaningful lyrics. She's not the typical rapper who talks about pussy and money all the time. I like how she touches different themes, even though she has explicit tracks too.
